NAUDET MECHANICAL BAROGRAPH
HERITAGE MODEL - REFURBISHED
Description
Designed to continuously record variations in atmospheric pressure, this NAUDET mechanical barograph is a true precision instrument, entirely reconditioned in our workshop.
Its original NAUDET mechanical mechanism, equipped with aneroid capsules, has been completely overhauled to restore its full precision and reliability. Operating without any electrical power, it is driven by a 7-day mechanical movement, wound using the supplied key.
With each rotation of the cylinder, the pen faithfully transcribes pressure variations onto a weekly chart, allowing for observation of meteorological evolution over the days. Its large, fully glazed case protects the mechanism while allowing the device's operation to be admired.
The Heritage model captivates with its open architecture, where every element of the movement remains visible: aneroid capsules, transmission system, recording cylinder, and clockwork mechanism form a set that is as technical as it is elegant.
Delivered ready to use, it comes with a winding key, a tracing pen, and a pack of 100 weekly charts.
Much more than just a scientific instrument, this NAUDET barograph is a testament to French expertise in meteorology. Fully reconditioned in our workshop, it is designed to continue its measurement mission for many years to come.
