OPEN-HEART BAROMETER

This barometer has been given a new lease on life after being restored in our workshop. Its original movement, which had become irreparable, was replaced by a new movement, fully adjusted and calibrated to ensure many years of operation.

Its natural varnished wooden casing, carefully restored, highlights an elegant 9.5 cm chrome bezel, also restored in our workshop. The bail, refurbished, allows for easy hanging while preserving the instrument's authentic character.

The beveled glass adds relief and depth to the dial, while the central opening reveals the mechanism, offering a unique way to read atmospheric pressure. A delicate arrow-shaped hand elegantly accentuates this composition.

With a diameter of 12.5 cm, this barometer combines the charm of traditional instruments with the reliability of a modern movement, offering an instrument that is as pleasant to behold as it is to use.

Fully inspected, adjusted, and calibrated in our workshop before being offered for sale, it is part of our collection of restored instruments, ready to continue its story.
