HOLOSTHERIC BAROMETER PHBN
Ø12 CM - RESTORED
Description
This 12 cm holosteric barometer attests to Maison NAUDET's historical expertise. Manufactured in our workshop several decades ago, it now enjoys a new life after a complete restoration carried out by us.
Its elegant paper dial, printed in English and graduated in inches of mercury (inHg), recalls instruments once intended for international markets. The mention Holosteric Barometer refers to the term holosteric, a registered trademark by NAUDET to designate a barometer operating with an aneroid capsule. The monogram PHBN, visible on the dial, represents the initials of our house's four founders.
Inside, this device is equipped with a restored NAUDET holosteric movement. Completely disassembled, cleaned, revised, adjusted, and then calibrated in our workshop, it has now regained all its operating qualities and precision.
Its brass casing, enhanced by a warm patina with delicate rose gold reflections, is highlighted by a finely engine-turned bezel, a sunburst background, and a beveled glass that add depth and elegance to the whole. A delicate arrow-shaped hand perfects this creation, emblematic of the refinement of NAUDET instruments.
With its 12 cm diameter and its suspension loop, this barometer will naturally find its place in a classic or contemporary interior.
Fully checked and calibrated before being put up for sale, this instrument is offered in our collection of reconditioned items, to continue its history in the hands of a new enthusiast.
Like all our reconditioned instruments, this barometer is available as a single item. Once adopted, it will no longer be available.
