"LYRE" BAROMETER
50CM - RESTORED

This antique barometer-thermometer has been fully restored in our workshop to bring this remarkable carved wooden composition back to life.

Its antique mechanical movement, fully serviced, is displayed behind an open-heart paper dial, revealing the barometer's operation. It is accompanied by a blued arrow hand, a beveled glass, and a restored brass bezel, brushed and then revarnished.

The wooden support, richly carved in an elegant "lyre" style, has also been fully restored. The turned colonettes, the floral decorations, and the moldings testify to the care taken in its original manufacture. The thermometer is equipped with an enamel plate, whose fineness perfectly matches the whole.

With its 50 cm height, 23 cm width, and its 8 cm diameter dial, this instrument occupies a prime position on a wall while maintaining great elegance.

A true heritage object, carefully restored to regain all its beauty and continue to stand the test of time.
