The hair hygrometer continues a traditional technology used for over a century to measure air humidity. Entirely designed, manufactured, assembled, and calibrated in our workshop, it testifies to the historical expertise of Maison Naudet.

At the heart of its mechanism is a real human hair. Naturally sensitive to variations in air humidity, it tightens or relaxes and, without any electrical power, moves the needle on the dial from 0 to 100% relative humidity. A remarkably simple mechanical principle, still appreciated for its reliability.

With its diameter of 12.5 cm and its depth of 5.4 cm, this hygrometer naturally finds its place in a living room, office, library, cellar, or any other space where humidity control is important. It is easily fixed thanks to its suspension ring.

The hygrometer offers an accuracy of ± 5%. Each device is carefully calibrated and individually checked in our workshop before being shipped.
