This barometer has been given a new lease of life after a complete restoration in our workshop. Its original movement has been fully serviced, allowing this instrument to continue its mission while retaining its authenticity.

To showcase this mechanism, we have created a brand new hexagonal natural wood stand, left unvarnished to preserve all the beauty and feel of the wood. This combination of contemporary material and an antique instrument gives the whole piece a sober and timeless aesthetic.

Its double paper dial, combined with an elegant central opening, reveals the serviced movement while retaining all the finesse of period instruments. The ensemble is enhanced by an original bevelled glass, a 9.5 cm brass bezel, carefully cleaned and re-varnished, as well as a delicate arrow-shaped hand, which gives this barometer all its elegance.

With its 15.5 cm hexagonal stand, this instrument becomes a true decorative object, where the charm of antique materials harmoniously dialogues with a contemporary creation.

Fully checked, adjusted and calibrated in our workshop before being put on sale, this barometer is offered in our collection of reconditioned instruments to continue its story.
