A testament to NAUDET's historical expertise, this holosteric barometer is a piece of character, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. Its elegant patinated brass case, its beveled glass, and its paper dial give it an authentic charm that only time can offer.

Behind its apparent simplicity lies a movement entirely manufactured by NAUDET, then fully serviced in our workshop to restore its precise operation. The inscription "Baromètre Holostérique", at the bottom of the dial, refers to a barometer operating with an aneroid capsule, a historical designation specific to the NAUDET House.

Although no NAUDET signature appears on the dial, its origin is identifiable thanks to the PHBN logo, present on the dial and on the back of the case. These initials pay homage to the four founders of Maison PHBN, who founded the company that is now NAUDET.

With its diameter of 12 cm and its height of 5 cm, this barometer simply fixes to the wall thanks to its integrated keyhole slot. A truly high-end piece of its time, it represents what can be considered the Rolls-Royce of antique barometers.

We chose to preserve its original patina. The natural oxidation marks of the brass have not been erased: they tell the story of this instrument and give it a unique personality, impossible to recreate.

Like each of our reconditioned instruments, this barometer has been fully checked, serviced, and calibrated in our workshop. It is a unique piece, available in only one copy.
