Since time immemorial, the phases of the Moon have marked time, influenced the tides and accompanied sky observations. This indicator allows you to know the current lunar phase at any time, from the first crescent to the full moon, including quarters and gibbous moons.

Its mechanism faithfully reproduces the lunar cycle: the hand completes a full rotation of the dial in 29.5 days, which is the average duration of a lunation. A second hand moves every minute; it simply confirms the proper functioning of the mechanism.

With a bezel diameter of 10.2 cm, a flange diameter of 13.7 cm and a depth of 4.8 cm, this instrument naturally finds its place in an interior, an office, an observatory or on board a boat. The flange allows elegant mounting using the three supplied fixing screws. For a more discreet installation, the device also has a buttonhole on the back.

Adjustment is very simple: align the hand with the current moon phase using the button on the back of the mechanism. The clock is delivered ready to use with its LR6 battery (1.5 V).
