The hair hygrometer perpetuates a traditional technology used for over a century to measure air humidity. Entirely designed, manufactured, assembled, and calibrated in our workshop, it testifies to the historical expertise of Maison Naudet.

At the heart of its mechanism is a real human hair. Naturally sensitive to variations in air humidity, it stretches or contracts and, without any electrical power, moves the needle on the dial from 0 to 100% relative humidity. A mechanical principle of remarkable simplicity, still valued for its reliability.

With its diameter of 16.8 cm and depth of 5.4 cm, this large model offers particularly comfortable reading. It naturally finds its place in a living room, office, library, workshop, or any other space where humidity control is important. It is easily mounted thanks to its suspension ring.

The hygrometer offers an accuracy of ± 5%. Each device is carefully calibrated and individually checked in our workshop before being shipped.
