At the heart of its mechanism is a real human hair. Naturally sensitive to variations in air humidity, it tightens or loosens, and without any electrical power, it moves the needle on the dial from 0 to 100% relative humidity. A principle as ingenious as it is timeless, still appreciated for its reliability.

With a hood diameter of 10.2 cm, a flange diameter of 13.7 cm, and a depth of 4.8 cm, this hygrometer naturally finds its place in a cellar, workshop, laboratory, museum, or any other space where humidity control is essential. The flange allows for elegant mounting using the three mounting screws provided. For a more discreet installation, the device also has a buttonhole located on the back.

The hygrometer offers an accuracy of ± 5%. Each device is carefully calibrated and individually checked in our workshop before shipping.
