The hair hygrometer continues a traditional technology used for over a century to measure air temperature and humidity. Entirely designed, manufactured, assembled, and calibrated in our workshop, it bears witness to Maison Naudet's historical expertise.

At the heart of its mechanism is a real human hair. Naturally sensitive to variations in air humidity, it tightens or relaxes, moving the needle on the dial without any electrical power. The thermometer complements the reading by indicating the ambient temperature.

With its diameter of 11 cm and depth of 3 cm, this instrument naturally finds its place in a workshop, cellar, laboratory, museum, or any other environment where humidity control is essential. Its robust painted steel casing, combined with a chrome-plated steel bezel, ensures excellent long-term durability.

The thermometer has an accuracy of ± 1 °C, while the hair hygrometer offers an accuracy of ± 5 %. Each device is individually calibrated and checked in our workshop before being shipped. It simply attaches to the wall thanks to its keyhole slot located on the back.
